Montgomery County, maryland commerce cabinet
Established June 9, 2020 by Executive Order, the Montgomery County Commerce Cabinet will focus on coordinating Maryland’s most populous County’s economic development activities.
The interagency Commerce Cabinet is chaired, staffed, and supported by the Montgomery County Economic Development Corporation (MCEDC). The Commerce Cabinet consists of 14 members. The membership represents executive branch departments, the County Council, and public-private organizations which support economic development in its mission. The Commerce Cabinet will work together to share information and form strategic collaborations to support Montgomery County economic development projects and activities.

The Commerce Cabinet is chaired by the MCEDC President and CEO. The Chair convenes bimonthly meetings and is responsible for the oversight, direction and accountability of the work of the Commerce Cabinet.
